We’re constantly on the go: going to work, going to shows, going to shops, going to restaurants. But when it’s time to go to the airport, finding clothes that work for your flight and all of those situations can be, well, tricky. Enter MM.LaFleur, a brand that carefully curates their collections to work in neutral color schemes, making it that much easier mix, match, and pack your pieces. Each season,co-founder and Creative Director Miyako Nakamura, who came to MM.LaFleur as the former head designer of luxury fashion brand Zac Posen, designs new piece—everything from dresses, pants, blouses, and knitwear. You can wear them straight from the plane to a meeting,or to dinner.
MM.LaFleur gives you the option to shop pieces à la carte off of their website or enroll in a subscription service that will deliver curated clothing and accessories right to your door. Perhaps the most exciting way to order, though, is with their signature “Bento Box”: all you have to do is take a quick survey, and the brand’s stylists will then decide what types of pieces work best for you. Each Bento Box contains 4-6 wardrobe staples that might include anything from dresses and knits to separates and accessories, with prices ranging from $110-325. When it arrives at your door, you’ll have four days to try everything on, keep what you like, and send back what you don’t. The best part about the Bento Box? Since it’s subscription-free, you can receive and send back as many Bento Boxes as you’d like—and as often as you please. (Luckily, shipping is free both ways.) If you’d rather try pieces on in person, you can also shop by appointment at their nearest showroom or pop-up. MM.LaFleur carries women’s sizes 0P-22W and currently only ships within the U.S. Here, some MM.LaFleur pieces that have quickly become our new favorite travel essentials.
