East End Ladies
Travel to East London and explore Spitalfields and Shoreditch – the edgy, cool, hipster part of London that started life as the silk weaving centre of the city. Maitland will take you on a walk to discover silk weavers’ houses, street art and street style. You can finish up at the workshop of Eddie Gavrilidis, a young designer who has had his creations worn by Lady Gaga and Kim Kardashian. His atelier is in a converted brewery. After the tour you can have free time to look at the chocolate shops, vintage clothes stores and indie stalls in the area before lunch in the converted crypt of Christ Church Spitalfields.

Visit the world’s favourite department store, Selfridges, before it opens to the public. The VIP Director will guide you round some of the store and charm the socks off you with his tales of the store. After the tour enjoy breakfast in one of two world renowned restaurants in-store: The Brasserie of Light or the rooftop Alto. After breakfast take time for a little retail therapy. After Selfridges we will visit one of London’s leading designers – Jacques Azagury – in his boutique in Knightsbridge. Jacques dresses Helen Mirren, Elizabeth McGovern and was instrumental in developing Diana Princess of Wales look after her divorce from Prince Charles. Jacques will share his life in fashion with you then you can ask him questions and can try on one of his creations.
